Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was a War Baby born at 3:40am Friday the 15th of October 1943 (right in the middle of World War 11) in Dallas, Texas.
My Father, William Irvin Turner, was a platoon Sergeant in North Africa, where they were fighting Rommel, and he received a special leave to come home, on his way to Italy, for my birth. Mother wanted to have her baby while my Father was home.
I vaguely remember living on Air Force bases in the early years. Mother and Daddy took me with them for 4 years during their "romantic time" after the war.
Life is a struggle, and a test, no doubt, but worth it!
I hope and believe that I will be remembered, loved and forgiven for all my shortcomings, by all that I walked through this life with and by all of you whom I will never get the chance to meet. You are in my thoughts, and now I'm in yours; that will have to suffice in this imperfect world. Your good thoughts and prayers will be most welcome and heard.
I've loved only one man with all my heart. An extremely passionate/obsession stormy relationship no one ever understood, even me.
I love and bless all three of my sons, Larry, David and Bo, my 8 grandchildren, Turner and Snowy are also my adopted children, and great grandchildren. May the Lord help you through this life as he has me.
Credo quia absurdum, credo ut intelligam.

I love you all. Written July 2012.

Isn't it funny how simple and short life turns out to be?

My headstone is already placed next to Mother's, Bid and Big Daddy's, at Mount Pisgah Cemetery near Pine Mills and Hainesville, Texas.

The picture you posted is beautiful. Just wondering who the other Lady is in the picture. I would love to see the whole picture.

Sincerely,

Yes, I live in Lampasas County, Texas which is in the central part of the state about 70 miles northwest of Austin. It is my husband's home town and we meoved here after he retired from a military career in 1981. We have been here ever since.
I got interested in Find A Grave by posting sites for his relatives and one thing led to another...

Regards,

Sue

I have transferred his memorial to you. Happy hunting and adding to this memorial.

I was born in Sept. 1943, so we are almost the same age!

Blessings,

Sue
