I've added a photo of Marvin & Caroline's gravestone. Would you please add "1994" as Caroline's date of death. Thank you.

Smith Cemetery
Are you related to all the Bailey's in the Smith Cemetery? Genevieve Dutton has been giving me info to add. Do you know her? I see you have so many pictures of the Bailey Family. Do you know Genevieve?

Mary Vandeveer
Thanks for the info. I presume then that you are a descendant of William. I am a descendant of Mary. What you may not know is that Curtis is not her maiden name. It was her first married name. Mary was born Mary Ellen Painter in Pennsylvania to David Painter and Sarah Reeseman. She married George William Curtis in 1884. She and George had 6 children (I think - I'm at work right now and can't quite recall). George died in 1908 and is buried in Hillman, Montmorency Co, MI. I'm very happy you posted the picture of Mary and William, as the one photo of them we knew existed in our family went missing when Mary's son Thomas's wife, Bernice Curtis, went ill and the family decidd to loot her home for what they found to be of value. What I recall of the photo, however, was it was never in as good of condition as the scan you have posted, so that is wonderful.
I'm wondering if you also do genealogy? If you do, it would be wonderful to see what information we might be able to swap.

William Edgar Vanderveer
Is William Edgar Vanderdeer the husband of Mary E (maiden=Painter 1st marriage=Curtis) Vanderveer? The stones look similar, but the entries aren't linked, and they also do not show a family stone noting the last name.
