I was born in 1926. I started working on my family tree in 2000. I was learning what little I know about computers at the same time.Had never touched one until my children talked me into it in 1999 (Nov) For Christmas that year my Daughter and Son-in-law gave me the Family Tree Maker.I had a few notes that I had writen down from my Mother. Luck would have it that I found her family in Kentucky with a lot of help from Doug Moore. At this time I am working on the families from around Allen, Adair, Barren, Metcalfe, Warren and Monroe County, Kentucky, Warren County, Tennessee, and Caswell County, North Carolina.Hagan, Crisp, Goodman, Garman and Rowe in KY. Crisp, Warren, Anderson, Snipes, Masey and Henegar in Tennessee. Crisp, Warren, Cooper and many more in North Carolina.I Live in California. Seems that I have left the impression that I live in places where I am searching. I don't travel around anymore since 2005.Thanks to all who have posted memorials.|
I may be a little slow in editing memorials. I'm not so young anymore and I have my husband to take care of. He is Legally Blind and is very confused at times. Also has fallen 3 times in this last year and can't remember falling. please have patience.Thanks

|Debbie Gibbons||RE: Betty Bigby|
You are welcome!
|Debbie Pitcock Davis||RE: Maurice Pitcock|
Please refer to his headstone picture. This also what my father has listed in his family books. My father is Glenn Pitcock
|Sonja Krisell||RE: Uriah Hawkins|
They may have reset the stone. This picture is from the 1980 survey that was taken. I have permission from the Cemetery to post those pictures and I'm a bit behind in doing so.
I have put out another request for his photo. It doesn't look like anyone is taking them. I hope to make it to Lone Tree on my next visit to AR.

|arlene miles||The Warren Family|
My husband'[s 2nd great grandparents are Lavenia Warren and William G Miles.
I have bee trying to find the parents of Lavenia for quite some time.
Can you verify the names and dates of her siblings and children along with her parents?
It sure would help my research.
|N.J "Joanna" Patterson||Hiram Apel|
Joy, here is the memorial number for an Apel.
|N.J "Joanna" Patterson||RE: Apel Family|
Since Apel is not a real common name, you are probably related to the East Texas Apels. My next door neighbor is an Apel. Her ancestor Apel was Sheriff of Wood County in the early 1900's. Some of the Apels lived here in East Texas, and some are buried here, and some of them lived in Dallas, etc.
I did a little work on her family, but it has been a while. I think the great grandfather was Godfried Apel.
Thanks for writing, if I can find anything off hand, I will send you a note.

How did you come to enter this memorial
and you now live in California? I'm still living in North Carolina.
