Hi my name is Judy (Cook) Penley. I live in the beautiful state of Missouri. I am the mother of four grown children & the Maw-Maw of ten grandchildren, ranging in age from 17 yrs old down to 3 months old. Boy, am I ever a pushover when it comes to those grandbabies! I am the wife to the love of my life, my husband Ric, we've been together 26 years & 23 of those years married.|
I'm a genealogy nut, I caught the bug about 13 years back and I'm hooked. What I thought would be a part time interest has grown into a full time love. Through my genealogy research, I've reconnected with family & connected with distant family I never knew I had. My one hope is that my children, their children & so on, will maintain & continue to document family as they come & go.
Now, down to business...
If you want to have a memorial transferred, I generally do not do so, but I will be happy to add additional information, do corrections, or add links, just send me the information thru Find A Grave suggestions or corrections & I will be happy to add it to the memorial crediting you as the informant. Make sure to send all the pertinent information (ie: Deceased full name, cemetery name & memorial number for that person & whatever else you might think helpful to me).
I am also currently trying to load all my pics of the graves I have been able to visit. As you will see, when I first started I only took close-up pictures of the headstones, however, I later began taking full pictures of the headstones as well as close-ups, sorry for the error in judgement.
p.s. I am sorry to say I am no longer able to get out & take photos of the cemeteries.

Judy My name is Bennie Morrow and I am searching for old photos specifically of my 2nd great grandfather John H. Morrow, 3rd GG Samuel Morrow and one of my 4th GG Robert. would be wonderful. I know atleast two of the Morrow girls married dalys and they all lived near each other in Boone county. wth exception of Robert who died in Kentucky. would give anything to have a photo of anyone of them.

Richard Barnes was alive at least until 1778 when he was on the Rowan Co., North Carolina, Tax Lists in Capt. Morris District. He paid tax for himself and his sons Shadrach, Samuel, and Richard. I saw that you manage their memorials. Do you have any more information about them (including photos) or on the Bruner side of the family?
I am primarily researching James' brother George W. Bruner. He was my 3rd great-grandfather. Any help would be appreciated!

The James H. Cook I am referring to is from Hopkinsville, ky. His wife is Eliza Bumpass.
On your tree, you have him listed as a son of George Washington Cook.
We have no info on his parents, the family records stop there. So, I am wondering what sources you have for the parents. Also, is there any trace of Native American resemblance in your Cook family anywhere near that generation?
James has a grandson with part native blood and we are uncertain of tribe. The resemblance does not affect every person.

I'm doing some family tree research and I've come across a James H cook in my family.according to a few pages you manage, you are related to him as well and have info on his family.
I'd love to get to talk to you and maybe request some records please. I'd be more than happy to return the favor. I've sent you an email but I am unsure if you still use the account.
Please get back to me if you can, James has been a major roadblock for about 30 years on our family's research.
All I have is listed in my tree on ancestry.com.
Wanda or Wanda1. I updated, they may not have complete online yet.
