I have been working on family research for many years, and I've visited cemeteries looking for my family and my husband's family. I have posted all the related graves and photos and added them to virtual cemeteries. The vast majority of memorials I've added are for people not related to either of us.
I enjoy photographing and documenting cemeteries, and I hope some of the memorials I add will help others with their family research.
Over the past few years, I have worked on documenting cemeteries in Dakota County, Minnesota, as well as adding photos to existing memorials.
I am also working on adding memorials for all the cemeteries and graves listed in 'Footprints in Time Tombstone Inscriptions in Tate County, Mississippi'. This book contains information for a lot of abandoned cemeteries, so I hope it will help someone looking for information on an ancestor.
I have just started working on Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia. The book, which was compiled in the late 70's and early 80's, has 16 pages of listings for this cemetery. I expect it will take me some time to check all of them against the records already in Find a Grave and to add any that are not yet documented. | |

 | Rowell, 1823-1854 Hi again Deb, Euphemia Rowell Neely's father was Randolph Rowell died 1869(you created his memorial in Bethesda Cemetery). I have connected them, but her mother, according to descendants, is the memorial you have as Rowell, no first name, born: July 12, 1823, died Feb. 9, 1854. She was Margaret Ann Steele Rowell, born South Carolina was Randolph's first wife and mother of Euphemia. Randolph and Margaret are on 1850 census in Desoto County, Miss. 2nd wife Ellen C. is on 1860 census with Randolph in DeSoto County. R.J.Added by R.J. on May 30, 2013 12:35 PM | | | R.J.
 | Walter Rowell Neely Hi Deb, I noticed that you have a memorial on Euphemia and 2nd husband, Charles Neely's son, Walter. His death certificate didn't give the name of the cemetery, only said Senatobia, Miss. Also, he died on Oct. 3, not Oct 1. His death date is listed in both the Tennessee Library and Archives and Shelby County Death Indexes, as Oct 3rd. The Shelby County website has a copy of his actual death certificate. He was born in Shelby County, TN, not sure which city and died in Memphis, Shelby County, TN Please link him with his parents: Charles # 76663234 Euphemia: # 76663711. Thanks very much, R.J.Added by R.J. on May 30, 2013 11:41 AM | | | R.J.
