Bio and Links
Bio Photo I discovered Find a Grave by accident soon after the death of our precious daughter, Marjorie. She was my first entry. I have added family members, friends, and others that I have no connection with but simply wanted to add them on these pages. I will have more of my family entered in the future. My wife and I are retired and we love it! I love riding the back-roads on my Harley and can't seem to ride past an old cemetery.....I love walking through them and find peace and quiet in them. Thanks so much to everyone that has placed notes, tokens, and have sponsored my memorials. God bless you all.

Hi Tom,

SO SORRY to learn of your poison ivy!

I'm so glad you have the necessary medication,

for it to disappear, and for the itching and

burning! I remember: I got it once, in high

school. I was helping my dad with mowing and

raking, in an area near our backyard, that did

not belong to anyone, so it was unattended, so

it was covered with weeds and poison ivy!

I got it on my ankles. It was AWFUL! I remember

one of my teachers seeing me with a pained

expression on my face, scratching one of my

ankles, under my sock, with a pen. She asked

me if that was poison ivy and I responded in

the affirmative. I got it again, or something

like it, as I was pulling weeds out of the un-

attended back porches of the apartment complex

Bill and I lived in. (In the future, I did it

while wearing gloves. Oh God, that place turned

into such a dump, over the years! EVERY DAY, we

thank God we are in a NICE neighborhood, now.

Earlier today, I sniffed two new fully opened

blooms, on the rose bush, which our neighbors

have, by their front steps. One of ours, which

we received as housewarming gifts, died, thanks

to the past two harsh winters, (Especially that

Winter Vortex of 1993!) but one (my favorite of

the two, its Oklahoma Rose and has huge blooms

that are deep red and smell HEAVENLY) has

survived. I'm praying it will THRIVE! Bill is

a GOOD gardener (he gets that from his mother's

mother, who had an EXTREMELY GREEN THUMB) as well

as his cooking skills from his other grandmother,

who was INCREDIBLE! We have all her recipes!

Another task calls me: Today is laundry day!

The white load should be dry by now.

Bill is CERTAINLY sympathizing with you on how

crummy it is to be stuck inside, on a nice summer

day. OHHWEEE, was he sore about that, while he

was in the hospital, on July 4th! If he had

just gone to the emergency room a lot earlier,

as I nagged him to, that would not have happened!

WELL, he learned his lesson! Also, we are "Di-

vorced from Little Debbie" as well. We had

dinner at Steak & Shake last night: no onion

rings, no French fries, no milk shakes!

WE LOOK GOOD! I'm seeing my physician on

the 15th and I'll be glad to show her my slimmer

self! Bill will be seeing her soon afterwards...

finally, the boy got himself a physician! His

heart condition and being in the hospital was

STRESSFUL, but SOOO much good came from it: he

changed his ways! He was leaning into being

how his Dad was: NOT GOOD!!! God taught him
