|Pamelad1||Elizabeth "Lizzie" Christison|
While researching my Matherly relatives, I came across your memorial for Israel Matherly and noticed your last name.
Who you happen to know if you have a Elizabeth "Lizzie" Christison in your family line. Her parents were Sarah and Evan Christison. She was born in 1879 in Boyle County, Kentucky. She married Calvin Knight in 1897 in Harrodsburg.
I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for your time,
Pam Bandy Douglas

|LEONADA9||RE: Frederick Gustorf Photo|
Hi Betsy, thank you for your reply. My doubts about the photograph are technological in nature. I believe the quality of the photo exceeds the state of the art at the time of Frederick Julius Gustorf's 1845 death. I would recommend you have it examined by an expert.

|Donna Smock||Mary R. Freed|
My Grandmother, Agnes Peterson Clark used to tell me of her Aunt Mary Freed and her twin cousins, Basil and Leona. She died just after her 100th birthday in 1986 and is buried in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth, IL along side of her husband James Clark, her sister Edna Peterson, her brother Wilfred O. Peterson, and her parents Peter O. Peterson Jr. and Emma H. Peterson. My Aunt, June Clark Morgan wrote a book "Pete of the Hill," a few years ago but never published it. Her daughter had it published after her death in 2000. Could you tell me what Mary's middle name was and any information about the family. I loved seeing pictures of her as the only one I had ever seen was the one I added and another I have of four of the Peterson children as adults. I just found information about her sister Anna from a genealogist on Retro Quad Cities on Facebook. I'm also on Facebook as Donna Robinson Smock if you want to send me a friend request. Donna

I am not convinced that this photo [ http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=84503159&PIpi=95922343 ] is of Frederick Julius Gustorf (1800-1843). I think it more likely to be a photo of his son Frederick Gustorf (1839-1912).

Hi Betsy, I created a few Jamison meorials in Springdale Cemetery. I was then looking at your Jamison memorials there and all the great old photos you posted!
It appears that the memorials I created sre the father and grandfather of Herbert Brotherson Jamison. I entered the information just as I found it. But I did figure the birth dates using a date calculator.
There is also a Caroline Jamison memorial. I do not know if she is related. Appears she died the same day as a 4 day old baby, Paul W Jamison.
OK, I kust wanted to let you know in case you were not aware of their burials there.
All the best,
