They are all directly south of her and share a family monument as well as having individual markers.

There is also a Jemima Ankrom located close by.

RE: Susannah Bailey
Me again. According to History of Bradford County, page 614, Susannah's father was Amos Bennett of "Orange County, NY". The Bennett family in my line were from Rhode Island. See Find A Grave Memorial# 57273628. He was born 1725 to 1730. Anyway, Amos would be your 5th ggf.

RE: Susannah Bailey
Very distant. She is the 2nd great grandmother of husband of grand aunt. I am related through Gordon Goff who married Mehitable. Later she married Harry Coolbaugh, who it appears was married to her sister, Polly. Susannah's dad, Amos Bennett -- he he related to Ishmael Bennett, Jr.? My 5th great grand uncle, Capt. Dietrich Huyett (1751-1778), (Dethich Hewitt --English spelling) fought and died not too far from Bradford County, PA at the Battle of Wyoming Valley. His widow, Elizabeth (Searle) Huyett married Bennett. Dietrich and Elizabeth lived in Pittston and they had 3 children that were adopted by Bennett. Have you done much work on Amos Bennett? I'd be interested in learning if there is a connection.

RE: Elizabeth Bell Cox
I am new at this, so could be off track....but: Elizabeth Bell Cox married Jacob Hulslander and had a son, Peter, in 1813. Jacob died in 1849. Elizabeth Wilber is listed in Peter's household in the 1850 census along with his wife's (Amanda Rose Soper) parents. Elizabeth's place of birth is listed as England. My Elizabeth died in 1853 also. Does this help or confuse?

RE: Elizabeth Bell Cox
Elizabeth Wilber (70) is listed under Peter Hulslander's household in the 1880 census. She could be another relative or Elizabeth Bell Cox could have remarried. Can you help identify her? Thanks.

There are two Find A Grave listings for Elizabeth Bell Cox Hulslander. One is marked Wilber. Is this the same person and do you have a record of a marriage?

RE: Nathaniel Whiting
Suzanne,

Your anonymous friend & I are 8th cousins 2x removed, although there may be a nearer relationship, if she also is descended from Ann Whiting.

I have just started researching this branch of my family and am about to move on to Nathaniel's parents. Most family trees identify his parents as John Whiting (1561-10/20/1617) & Sarah Smith (1569- 10/4/1649) both born & died in England. I cannot vouch for this at this time, but it is a start for my further exploration.

If my cousin is an ancestry.com member, she can go to the search tab, scroll down to card catalog, type in Whiting, and that will bring up a number of options one of which is the Whiting genealogy, which he/she can read online. He/she can also check libraries or the state historical society for the same book--Whiting Genealogy, Nathaniel Whiting of Dedham, Mass., 1641 & Five Generations of his Descendants; compiled by Theodore Lazell.

Please ask your friend (my cousin) to contact me if she finds out anything about his parents. My email address is peterloon6@aol.com, and my findagrave.com profile is listed under my member number 47719987.

Nathaniel Whiting
Hi Suzanne,

I notice you requested a photo of the marker for Nathaniel Whiting (#73164107). He was my 7th great grandfather, so perhaps you and I distant cousins if you are a direct descendant of him as well. If someone fulfills your photo request, will you please let me know? My direct email address is peterloon6@aol.com

Peter
