|Peter Morgan||RE: Nathaniel Whiting|
Your anonymous friend & I are 8th cousins 2x removed, although there may be a nearer relationship, if she also is descended from Ann Whiting.
I have just started researching this branch of my family and am about to move on to Nathaniel's parents. Most family trees identify his parents as John Whiting (1561-10/20/1617) & Sarah Smith (1569- 10/4/1649) both born & died in England. I cannot vouch for this at this time, but it is a start for my further exploration.
If my cousin is an ancestry.com member, she can go to the search tab, scroll down to card catalog, type in Whiting, and that will bring up a number of options one of which is the Whiting genealogy, which he/she can read online. He/she can also check libraries or the state historical society for the same book--Whiting Genealogy, Nathaniel Whiting of Dedham, Mass., 1641 & Five Generations of his Descendants; compiled by Theodore Lazell.
Please ask your friend (my cousin) to contact me if she finds out anything about his parents. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org, and my findagrave.com profile is listed under my member number 47719987.

I notice you requested a photo of the marker for Nathaniel Whiting (#73164107). He was my 7th great grandfather, so perhaps you and I distant cousins if you are a direct descendant of him as well. If someone fulfills your photo request, will you please let me know? My direct email address is email@example.com

Yes I am aware. Actually I worried about the continued availability of the hours that I put in, if Find a Grave decided to ever fold because of financial concerns. Now I know that Ancestry has it, all will not be lost. I think it's more important that the information is available than that I get credit for it. But thanks in case I didn't know.

I was going to report this as an unfound stone, but instead took a look at some of the unreadable stones around Sarah Draper (this is the only one). I can just make out "deon" above the word died. ASB

You're very welcome, Suzanne.
|Lynda Decker Blanford||Hi|
Thought we should be 'friends' here, as well!
|Lois Palecek||RE: Milton Bailey|
Maybe you would be able to answer a question about Milton - did he marry a woman named Ruby? I see for the Civil Warm Pension, the 1900 census for Burlington, PA and the 1910 census, they all list his spouse as Ruby A Bailey. Thanks for your help.
