it is so nice that everyone gives what they are able too. i would like to say for me i am so thankful in you guys helping me. me & my daddy started genealogy back in the mid 1980's..we met the most awsome people ever, shared stories, smiles & laughter.best of all we shared every thing each other had...concerning this quest that we all have taken-like others before us. we have become: the story tellers in our families. because for me genealogy isnt just names & dates. its family.

HI Sheri Lyn

Thank you so much

Hi Sheri--Thanks for this listing on Find A Grave for Vaclav Veverka. I am the great granddaughter of Antonie (Antoinette) Veverka and am looking for some definitive proof that Vaclav is her brother. I have come across a tree in ancestry.com that lists her as such, but I am still lacking any direct proof. Do you have anything that might better connect Antonie to Vaclav? I know that Anton (or Antonin) Veverka is her father. Thanks for any additional info you can provide! --Jill Vicory

You are SO welcome. I agree with all you said, and I am finding the same. I have not been doing genealogy "seriously" for as long as you, although my father and I did some basics back that far, and then I picked it up very seriously in the last 8-10 years, just before he was diagnosed with alzheimer's. I lost him to the disease one year ago (March 30) after his 7 year battle with it, but I was able to make significant progress on our family before he lost the ability to comprehend what I was doing, and was able to get significant information from him (at least, what he knew) before he got too far along and could not remember. Doing genealogy together brought me much closer to him than I had ever been during all my years prior to that, and to that end, it was a great blessing in my life.

I transferred this to you. I would rather see them with family than strangers.
Let me know if you find more.

Oops!!! I see that Find A Grave is my icon-friendly.
My message should read --
A fellow "gravers" called my attention to your poem. I LOVE it. I hope you don't mind if I copy it.
Hi Sheri, glad to get the pics for you. I loved the poem on your site.

Saw where you left a message on James Walter Hogan's memorial, and said you was a g-g-grandson. I'm very interesting in some of the Hogan' buried in Masonic Cem. in Pocahontas, Randolph Co. Ar. My grandmother was a Hogan, and wanted to touch base with other Hogans to see if there is a connection. You can write me at email@example.com if you would like.
