We have been working on our family histories going on 25 years now. A big part of that is tramping around in the old cemeteries. That's why we joined Find-A-Grave.
We love to take pictures and this just goes along with it. If you find a picture I posted and it is your families please feel free to use it.
If you see something that needs correcting or want a transfer of someone we posted that is in your family just ask and we will do our best. We will transfer those in my own family at our discretion; I like to keep them together.

Trying to locate Elizabeth Dorcas Stubbs, born around 1849 in MS, married Elijah Edwards around 1867 in MS...seems to have relocated to Texas with daughter Cordelia after 1900.I found a Elizabeth D. Edwards buried in Amarillo, 1849-1923, which seems to fit the information I have.
She was the daughter of Peter B Stubbs or Peter Leonard Stubbs.
If you have any knowledge of her Please let me know, my great great grandmother.

Extremely sad considering how much one pays for burials. Cemetery owner has many legal issues against her yet we see nothing happening. Walking the area is a health hazard. Drug paraphernanial here and there. Holes next to grave areas that are a foot deep. Overgrown weeds that are hiding God knows what. Headstones broken, on their sides, or half in the ground. I have added a picture for Alvin Wesley Hughes. While I was there I found Elaine Davis Hughes buried next to him. I added a Memorial page and took a picture.
