Bio and Links
Bio Photo I can't believe it took me as long as it did to discover this site! What a great resource!

On Sept 10, 2005, my photo contributions exceeded 1000 and became "unclickable", but I had saved the link as a bookmark. You can browse them HERE if you feel like it! In addition to the pictures I have posted for individual entries, I have also submitted one or more photographs of several cemeteries. I used to list them here, but the list got too long for this space so I moved it to an entry HERE!

The day I found Find a Grave, I was on a grave hunting trip to Pennsylvania, dragging my long-suffering husband, John, with me while I took hundreds of digital photos of family graves! I also have a shoebox sized file box of "analog" photos, as well as records of other burials in places I have never visited! Since then, I have uploaded all my new photos and scanned most of my old ones! It's been a labor of love. Occasionally, I still find entries I've made that contain a note saying I plan to scan and upload a photo at a later time, if you see one of these, please drop me a note reminding me to do so. Obviously I have missed it.

I have been working on my family history since 1996, and most of my contributions are my own dead relatives, but I've always loved cemeteries, and sometimes I think my obsession with genealogy is just an excuse to walk thru old graveyards!

I also have (or can scan) better copies of most of the grave photographs that I have posted here. Please email me if you would like me to send you a larger copy!

I'm also on Twitter now if anyone is interested!

Also feel free to contact me with corrections or additions to the info I've posted. I have recently changed the email address that I use for Find a Grave due to problems with AOL blocking the notifications from this site. You can contact me at my gmail account, or at my AOL address:

I appreciate your taking time to get and post the tombstone for him. He's an ancestor on my maternal grandfather's family.

Thanks,

Duncan & Taylor Photos
Cherie; There must have been some confusion with volunteers claiming the Duncan and Taylor photo requests. All I know on my end is that they were claimed and taken care of. For Taylor, if you have taken that photo already and feel it is better than the one already posted, please feel free to post it anyway and get your photo credit. I am so sorry about the confusion and hope it has not caused you an unnecessary trip to the cemetery. Thanks anyway for the effort.

Thank you for your photographs! I went from no pictures to doubles - the other volunteer went for the pictures and was going to claim them after she took them but when she went to, they were already claimed by you so she added them directly from their memorial pages. I am glad though that you posted your photos anyway because the other volunteer's picture is blurry and your's is nice and clear. Thank you again.

RE: Mathias Clutter at Beulah Baptist
Our relation to the Clutters is also a collateral line. Martha Jane Clutter (dau of Mathias) married John Dawson Rush who is a cousin. Those Greene & Washington county Rushes were there for a long time, so they married into SO many families! Thanks for the offer, but I'll let someone who really is related have the privilege.

Mathias Clutter at Beulah Baptist
Nelson Mathias Clutter was the son of Abraham and Lydia (Winget) Clutter. He also married a girl named Lydia who is also buried here. Could you please do the relationship links for them? Thanks!

Oakwood - Bagley
Dear Cherie - thank you so very much for visiting Oakwood Cemetery in late March to take photos of the Bagley family graves. My apologies for the tardy thank you, but I had a major health scare in this timeframe and my life fell to pieces. Thank you so very much for your work as a FindAGrave volunteer!
