hi, all hardin descendants stem from marcus and elizabeth hardewyn, (the name was shortened to americanized Hardin as their children were born} from France, they came to the new world in early-mid 1600's.
They were hugenots fleeing religious persecution. There are many many resources available for study. Start by just using www.google.com and searching hugenots. I also have found that www.familysearch.org is an excellent free geneaology site. Good luck, Lynne
