Which Borland line you following?
I have researched and published material on a Solon Borland and his family, born in Virginia, http://community-1.webtv.net/billboggess2/UNITEDSTATESSENATOR/. My new email address is: email@example.com
Joe Baughman has been a great source of information, also Carolyn (Wood) Kieser was acquainted with Lee and Peggy.

My GGGrandfather John Henry Goins was married to Ruth Minerva Hankins. Not sure which John B Goins you are referring to.

I apologize for the grass on the stone. The reason I was able to respond so quickly to your request is that I had already photographed the entire 9,600+ head stones as documentation. If I knew this one was to be posted, I would have specifically pulled the grass, etc., and made it more presentable.
I will not be offended in any way if you'd like me to remove this pic and you can request a better one.
I live several hours from that cemetery or I'd go back and re-shoot it for you.
