Rives Cemetary
Randy,

Im Eddie Grant I work for the airport, and as part of our recent fence project the cemetary was "unfenced" so you can access it from the road. Are you a relative or just a passer-by we want to try to contact the family to let them know that they can access it now.

please reply to me

Thanks
Eddie Grant

Crain / Clore Cemeteries
Hello Randy,
I am helping the Randolph County Genealogical Society update their database on cemeteries in the county. One of our members provided me with a "rough description" of where these two cemeteries are located. I found your email on F.A.G. and the photo you took!! Would you be able to either provide me with GPS coordinates for each of these places or descriptions? We want to be able to have the correct information available. If you would like me to send you the "rough description" I was given, I would be more than happy to do so. Thank you so much (in advance) for helping me with this cemetery project.

RE: Mildred Crain Brock
I research on a service called "One Great Family". I'm aware that it sometimes has incorrect information so I put what I have on Find A Grave in hopes that I will connect with someone like you who has better information. I am transferring her to you so that you can fill in the missing data. Thanks Jimmy Huffman

I'm still stoned at Glenn
Hey Cousin Randy!
First your questions.
Nope, sorry, I didn't know your dad. Your numbers tell the story ...1938.... he graduated in the spring . I started in the fall. I was classmates with
Pansy and Lulu Jane . I'm sorry I don't know which Crain family they belong to and that's my fault. Back then when I looked at girls my mind tended more toward decendants than ancestors if you know what I mean. And I didn't even know about Memorial# 9731270 which shows a Grosvenor mothered a whole nest of Cranes . You got that W E Talbott stone figured, huh? I don't. I don't understand your explanation. Try again. I'm all ears!

Crains and Cranes
Thank you, Randy Crain! It is heart-warming to know that someone is reading my stuff. As you noticed, I was speculating on a lot of things in that bio in hopes that someone, somewhere, sometime would clear up some of the mysteries of Sarah Hill. But wait, There's more! Sarah had a daughter from her marriage with Allen Hill. What happened to them? AND There is a stone in Glenn cemetery which reads , "Erected in the Memory of W R Talbott and John Grosvenor Father and Brother-in-Law of W E Talbott" We believe John Grosvenor was an only child. W E Talbotts bio on pg 92 of the Jackson Co History 1978 srates " Mr.Talbott was married January 14th, 1841 to Miss Elizabeth Crain. " Both W R Talbott and John Grosvenor died in 1847. WE Talbott was about 29 yrs old at the time and contemporary to both men.
So why the Sam Hill (No relation to Sarah) did W E think John was his Brother-in-Law? I've got a theory that involves Miss Elizabeth Crain. The ball is in your court!

Crains in Juniper Haven
Upon finding your well-documented WorldConnect research, I am confident that you are the right person to manage these memorials so have transferred. Please let me know if there are others I should transfer. I hope you can connect a few of those who don't current have family links.

Regards
Carrie (Malena on findagrave)

Crains in Juniper Haven
Hi Randy--
I have photographed all of Juniper Haven, which is home to many Crains, but have only processed about half of the photos. I have uploaded those to findagrave. Let me know if you have any interest in adding information to these pages, and I will transfer.
Cheers,
Malena
