Bio and Links
The Shrefflers can trace their lineage back to pre-Revolutionary War times when Johann (Johannes, Johanna) Schreffler came to North America From Deutschland. His son, Henry fought in the Revolutionary War. They settled in Pennsylvania, then moved on into Ohio and from there spread out to Illinois, Indiana and throughout the USA. I have done my best to accurately trace this lineage from myself on back to Johann. Any additional information about these people (burial info ect) would be graciously welcomed.
Any burial info on British record producer Guy Stevens would also be welcomed.
Oh, I am from Indianapolis and my father was Ora Dale Shreffler. I am a member of the German American Klub.

Shreffler/Whitson information
Hi Dan, my name is Peter Whitson. I am the first cousin of Mary Wicklein and a ggg grandnephew (we think) of Moses Whitson. Mary said you may have information regarding the moigration of our families from Pennsylvania to Illinois. We belive that Moses and Sussana were married in Ohio. Can you confirm that. Also John Henry Shreffler and Benjamin Whitson, suspected brother of Moses, are buried in the same cemetery in Plainfield, IL. Seems there was a "neighbor" type relationship between our families for a period of time. You may contact me at mrpww@aol.com at anytime. I hope to hear from you in the near future.

Pete
