William L Frantz
William was born Aug 2 ,1865 he was the son of Daniel Frantz and Elmira Boyer, he was married to Maud Mae Cavender and had two children- Elmo W Frantz and Dorothy Aldene Frantz;
Elmo married Harry George Wylam;
Aldene married Edward Henry Clark.

Maud May married a second time to Porter L Rickard
she went by May/ Mae.
Maud is the sister to my great grandfather John Clarence Cavender

I have no idea why he changed his name. Maybe he thought Houston sounded better than Howes. On two census records he indicated his parents were born in Scotland but they were actually born in Maine.

I updated his memorial with information from census records. I can't find him on the 1870 census.

Grace and Alvah Jarvis lived next door to my ancestors Andrew & Malinda Jackson on Ida Street in Fullerton, Nebr. I have copies of the poems Grace wrote in memory of two Jackson daughters who died young.
