I used to drive my Grandma Conte frequently to the cemetery in Sanger,Ca. to put flowers on the graves of family and friends. She was so afraid that she would be forgotten when she passed on--and I assured her that would not happen--and it hasn't. With our frequent trips to cemeteries I started taking pictures. Find a Grave site is a wonderful way to pay homage to those no longer with us,be it loved ones, strangers, animals or those that have no one to remember them.|
I was born in Fresno,Ca. and raised in Needles,Ca. and currently live in Bakersfield,Ca--so you can say I am a Cal. girl and most assuredly a desert rat.

You are so welcome. I appreciate that you added it. You would be surprised how many won't. Last week I was sending out 10 plus per day. I think only 5 contributors actually added the obits, or used any of the information from them.

You are so welcome. There are a lot of graves in that cemetery that are unmarked. To me that is so sad because everyone should be recognized for their life. I always hate when I find one that is unmarked. Linda

This memorial for Ernesto is in Riverview Cemetery. The photo of the Memorial is at Desert Lawn Cemetery in Mohave Valley.
Ernesto died when the Edison Plant blew a steam pipe in 1985. This memorial was at the entrance to the plant and when they tore the plant down they moved it the Desert Lawn Cemetery.

Your welcome. My daughter and I were saying yesterday how nice our cemetery is.
I looked for them all but that was all I found. Sorry I don't live in Needles so I probably won't be going back soon

Part of the reason it took so long to fulfill your request was I had no idea where "Section GR" was. I went over this afternoon when I knew the groundskeeper would be availability and asked. "GR" stands for Garden of Rest. The names of the deceased on the plaque had their ashes scattered in the garden surrounding the plaque. The garden consists of large, beautifully manicured rose bushes; it's a lovely area.
I am passing thru Needles and stopped at the Cemetery yesterday. Of course no one was there to help with the plot numbers and its not a huge cemetery but big enough. I was able to find only one of your requests and I'll claim that one now, and on my way out, I'll look for more if I have the time.

Death dates on Margaaret Bemish?

I am sorry I could not get more on the list. There was no one there to help me find the graves. I walked all over the graveyard & found these on my own. I could not stay longer, because I was just going through Needles on my way to another town for a doctor's appointment. When I got back to my own town I called the Needles cemetery and left a message but no one has returned my call.
