I used to drive my Grandma Conte frequently to the cemetery in Sanger,Ca. to put flowers on the graves of family and friends.She was so afraid that she would be forgotten when she passed on--and I assured her that would not happen--and it hasn't. With our frequent trips to cemeteries I started taking pictures. Find a Grave site is a wonderful way to pay homage to those no longer with us,be it loved ones,strangers,animals or those that have no one to remember them.
I was born in Fresno,Ca. and raised in Needles,Ca. and currently live in Bakersfield,Ca--so you can say I am a Cal. girl and most assuredly a desert rat. | |
