Bio and Links
Bio Photo The way it reads now.

I get requests to link family members, I do then I get nasty rude emails telling me there wrong. So from now on the only way I will link anyone is if they are on the same headstone. I will be more than glad to transfer the memorial and you can link them. I will be glad to transfer or delete every one I have. I used to enjoy this site but lately there is so much rudeness in the e-mails. I hardly ever get on here anymore.
(Jim, Debbie, I will be glad to do anything for you. It's not because of you, it's others.)

The way it used to read.

I am related to the Harts from Jackson co. Fla. the Piners from Wilmington NC. Allens and Whites from Ga. If you are related to anyone that I have posted and would like them transfered to you I will be glad to do it as long as i'm not related to them, (and most likely i'm not). Some people will only transfer up to 4 generations back, I will transfer no matter how far back it is as long as find a grave don't mind. Now if you only transfer 4 back then thats all I will do for you. What goes around comes around.I would like to have my G.G.G.Grandfathers Capt Henry William Paris and William A. Allen but the contributors have stated they won't transfer back that far. I will be glad to link everyone I can so family members can be closer together. You are welcome to use any of my photos as you like. Just dont create a duplicate memorial, use my photo, then ask me to delete mine, (someone did that). If I have posted any information that is wrong, please let me know and I will correct it. I will delete duplicates, but not if mine was there first. I try to add a flag for every military person and confederate veteran. If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them. Fredom is not free. It is still being paid for. If you must burn our flag please wrap your self in it first. If you can read this thank a teacher. If You're reading it in english. thank the military.
Have a great day. ^(-.-)^

Fannin Family Transfers
Mr. White:

Thank you for the Fannin Family transfers. I will manage them with care.

There are two in the Dailey-Selfridge Cemetery that have not yet been transferred: #17946499 and #17946565.

Thank you,
Henry Hayes

RE: Fannin Family Transfers
Mr. White:
Thanks for your reply.

It appears that transfers must be originated by the current manager. Here's an excerpt from the FAQ page:
"There will be a link on the right side of the memorial page, under the person's name, that says Transfer Management. Click on the link. Add the other contributor's ID # in the box on the Transfer Management of Memorial page that comes up, and click on the transfer this memorial button."

Since this Transfer Management link is only available to you as the current manager, I can find no way to initiate the transfer myself.

Fannin Family in Henry County
I see your message about rude members and am sorry you've had this experience. I have a number of edits I'd like to make to the Fannins buried in the Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery and Flippen United Methodist Church Cemetery in Henry County, Georgia. (I'm a Fannin descendant.) If you're willing to transfer these "Fannins" to me, I'll manage them and make the edits.
Thanks for all of your contributions.
Sincerely,
Henry Hayes

Evelyn Denson
Dear Mr. White,

I'm doing some research on ancestry.com on the Denson side of my family. I see this grave marker for Evelyn says SISTER. Is she the sister of Robert L. Denson, Jessie M. Denson and Henry Columbus Denson? Robert would have been my paternal great grandfather. Theron Amile being my grandfather and Theron LeRoy being my father. Also seem to be having trouble finding any additional info on Joseph E. Denson and Carrie Denson whom I believe to be Robert's parents. If you have any info that would be helpful to me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Dear Mr. White,

Thank you so much for your great work on Find A Grave. Please do not worry about rude people. Your work is helpful to many people.

I am the great granddaughter of James Hiram Jones through Nancy Hindsman and their daughter, Maud Ann Jones. I am eagerly seeking other descendants of this family.

I was wondering if you would consider giving this site to me for maintenance as he is my direct relative. I would greatly appreciate it.

Please keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

Patricia Corbell Gonzalez

Thomas E Allums
Barry,

My name is Brian Yerka and I am doing research for the Allums family. You are the owner of memorial #15941966 for Sarah (Green) Allums buried at the Flatrock Cemetery in Clayton County Georgia. I am trying to find her husband, Thomas E Allums b: 1852 in Clayton County. I would presume that he would be buried in the same cemetery as his wife but no listing comes up. One of Thomas’ brothers and one of his sisters are buried together in the Flatrock Cemetery (Memorial #15941905 for William Allums. There is no separate listing for his sister, Lavonia).

There is also a listing (memorial #15941948) for Henry Noland Allums B&D: Jan 24, 1908 but no information on who his parents are. You are the owner of all these memorials.

My question to you is whether you have access to the cemetery books that might say whether Thomas was buried at Flatrock and who this Henry belongs to?

I read your biography and am sorry to hear that people have been rude to you when you are trying to help. I can assure you that I would be greatly appreciative of anything you can give me so that I can help tie this family together. I live in Minnesota so a personal visit to Georgia is not available.

My GGGgrandfather is Hopson Allums and Thomas E is one of his sons.

Thank you for whatever help you can give.

Della McMichael transfer
I just sent you a request for a transfer...and I forget say something in my previous message.
For all those difficult people out there, there have been (in my brief experience on Find A Grave) an immense amount of contributors who have gone completely out of their way to pull rabbits out of the hat for me this first year. My list of "Friends" are ones who have done family tree research on my behalf, answered (otherwise) stupid questions I've had, helped clean up mistakes I've made, and most, at some point, have bent over backwards - because they all have benefited in some way by me sweeping in and adding to their already existing 'bare-bones' memorials.
It's all good Barry, just wanted to emphasize that.

Walden - Bowden
Barry:
I am trying to locate the parents of our John Bryant Bowden who married Mary LuVada Goss. I doubt you will remember me by name but this is my line and I think you will recognize our relationship:
Our Great Great Grandparents
John Bryant Bowden m Mary LuVada Goss
Our Great Grandparents
d. Genorah Annette Bowden m. Wesley Wade Walden
From here down, burials in Fairview and Bethel UMC Cemeteries
My Grandparents (this is where our line splits)
d. Amanda Frances Walden m. Ewell Theron Hendon
My Parents
d. Antionette ("Nettie) Frances Hendon m. Joe L Duke
My brother is deceased and buried next to our grandparents at Bethel:
Joe Leon Duke, Jr. (deceased)
m. 1 Judy Brock - divorced
m. 2. Vicki Bock Kalid
Me (still living, of course)
Rebecca Anita Duke m. John A. Jones

I am stuck on the Bowden side of our family and also have some problems past the Walden line. Some people are trying to prove Tavner to be WW's father but no yet proven.

The main person I am tying to get are the parents of John Bryant Bowden. You know how the web is ... they have him in the home of Matthew and Evaline (nee McWhorter) Goss when he was a young boy. They were in Habersham County, GA and I have a census that listed him as their son but that is not correct. He married their daughter Mary LuVada Goss and that has never been legal. :) Do you know how he came to live with them? Oral tradition said he was living with his uncle but I find no connection between the Bowden and the Goss families that would make that so.

Is there any chance you might have any info/leads you would share with me?
