I live in Texas and I started research on my family several years ago.
I am most interested in my McMillan heritage primarily from Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; Oak Grove/Goodwill, Louisiana; Franklin County, Virginia; Rutherford/Shelby, North Carolina; Central and West Texas.
I am also researching the Behelers of McLennan, County (Waco), Texas; the Poags and Browns of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Ohio; and the Smiths of McLennan and Collingsworth Counties, Texas.
I would love to hear from you on any of these families.
I have received so much help from folks on this site, especially with photo requests. If I am in the area, I would be glad to pay it forward...
If you find an error in any of my listings or if there is something you want to add, please let me know.

You sent the following:
You added a photo of a headstone for me recently for Russell Dobbins, buried in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery (he passed in 1961). In my tree, he is the husband of one of my Beheler ancestors, Elizabeth Beheler Dobbins. I see that she passed in 1929, the same year as their infant child (childbirth, I'm assuming)...BUT in the photo I see that he is buried next to Sara Jane Dobbins (passed in 1969). It's not linked at F.A.G., but would you assume that he remarried Sara Jane since Elizabeth passed away so young? Do you find it odd that he didn't want to be buried at Shiloh with Elizabeth and his child? Are Shiloh and Memorial fairly close to one another in Rutherford County? Do you know if he had any more children, with Sara?...Did you see any at Memorial? Thanks for your help!...so much.
I am sorry I did not add the marker photos. I am not familiar with this family. If you would like to have it transferred let me know.

Glad I was able to help. Out of the 17 graves I was looking for I was able to find 8 of them. I am glad I was able to find the ones you requested.

Yes, I know... It turns my stomach to believe that someone, in 1964, had the power and insensitivity to do such a thing.. There are many cemeteries that have not been taken care of and vandalized, but this is someone who we are suppose to trust who did this.. I am so sorry that it had to be one of your family members.

I'm referring to the marker for Andy Beheler at Broughton Hospital.
|Suzannah McCuen||photo request on Beheler|
I see that you've made a photo request for his grave marker. I posted a photo of it years ago. There is no other known marker on his grave that I am aware of. Do you know if family has placed a more recent one? If so I'll stop by and photograph it.
