Hi David.. I'm so embarrased, and you are completely correct. Joseph Ehrlinger's father, Charles, was Elizabeth's brother, correct? My mother is helping a friend (c. Leyendecker) with his family tree, and I'm helping by doing research, and locating information, etc. I've currently working on Capt Wilhelm Frels (1811-1870) vs Gerhard Frels (1822-1912)- they both had Wilhelms as a son. Capt's Son born about 1954, and Gerhards born about 1946. Gerhards son Wilhelm married Anna F. Margarete Leyendecker, but there seems to be some confusion with some history- he's been found linked to Capt Wilhelm Frels & Louise Frerichs, instead of Gerhard Frels and Louise Weichmann. So.. I am trying to track down Capt Wilhelm's children: Wilhelmina (married Joseph Ehlinger), Wilhelm (birth & baptism, but no death records), Johann Dietrich (assumed died as infant, doest no appear in 1860 census), and Louisa Frels (1857-1928). No actual family connection, though. ;)

Hi David.. could you please connect Elizabeth Hahn 11052038 to her mother, Wilhelmina Frels Ehlinger (married to Joseph ehlinger) 77534729? Thanks! If you need verification, please email me to discuss connection. Elizabeth is the first wife to Jacob Hahn, and divorced him. Jacob Hahn then remarried. Luzie

Yes Mary was their child also. Mary married Robert Sylvester Munger and she is buried somewhere in Birmingham, Alabama but I'm not sure where exactly. The two girls, Mary & Maggie, were in household of grandparents while he was in the Civil War. After his return from war he married Margaret Ann (Daviss) Collett's sister Eliza Daviss. They raised the two girls and had children of their own. Eliza (Daviss) Collett is buried beside J. H. Collett in Oakewood cemetery in Austin. To confuse matters a bit more for you..J. H. Collett was 1) md. to Eudora (Smith)Collett buried in Fairfield Cemetery, 2) Margaret Ann (Daviss)Collett buried in Fairfield Cemetery and 3) Eliza (Daviss)Collett buried at his side. Hope this helps.
Thanks, Billie Bournias
