Bio and Links
Bio Photo I want to thank all the contributors to Find-A-Grave. This site has grown phenomenally since I first discovered it and joined. I use it frequently in my research, and I'm especially grateful for those who have posted burial data and family biographies that have served as a crucial piece of information that has helped scoot me a little further out on my tree branches. Genealogy has managed to remain a beloved and rewarding obsession. I started out knowing a handful of my ancestors but now could populate a good-sized town with them. They make me happy. Many of them came to America when it was an early colony. Many started their lives in Maryland and then picked up their families around the time of the Revolutionary War and eventually found their way to East Tennessee. My roots are southern from the eighteenth century to the present. I also research my husband's ancestry, which has deep French Canadian roots on his paternal side and German-American ones on his maternal. Uncovering and unravelling our ancestry continues to reward us both. I hope if you've landed on any pages I've contributed to that you'll find something to connect to and that you'll help me correct any errors I've made in the stress or pain of ongoing family and personal health problems. I just finished uploading all the photos for memorials in Harriman Cemetery. So glad you found Cora. I am happy to transfer TN memorials as I am not related to anyone in this state.

Good that you are feeling better and can get back to your research.

Best Wishes, Louise

Do you know if Josie East is buried at Winton Chapel near Charles? I don't have anything in my records nor did I find any pix in yours. You are so much more knowledgeable about the Cemetery and Nora Ann is asking. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your note. I will get this corrected immediately. It is hard to read some of the graves at close to 200 years, and I'm sure there is more than one that has errors. My husband's family is buried there (Rodgers/Rogers) and I'm trying to get the entire cemetery entered on Find A Grave before it's over. Again, many thanks, and I would love to see your pix. Thanks for sending the website.
