Correction for people listed in wrong cemetery
Hi Ted,

Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to enter info on the Turner family cemeteries in Harnett Co, North Carolina. I am a direct descendant of William Green Turner, and have a few suggestions for corrections.

Please take a look at "Turner Cemetery".

Some of the names listed here are not physically located within this cemetery. They are in a separate family cemetery, a few miles down the road. Please create a new cemetery, "Simon Preston Turner Cemetery", details below - and move the following entries to a new cemetery. (Simon Preston Turner was the patriarch of the family who moved here and used this burial ground, and he is buried here.)

[ New cemetery details ]
Name: Simon Preston Turner Cemetery
Lat and longitude: 35.397040 degrees N - 78.685895 degrees W.
Description: Small family cemetery on Brick Mill Road outside Coats, NC.

[ Move these individuals to "Simon Preston Turner Cemetery" ]
- Elizabeth Turner b 1842 http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2146352&GRid=11234793&
- Mary Susan Turner b 1857 http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2146352&GRid=11234821&
- Simon Preston Turner b 1860 http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2146352&GRid=11234808&
- Sarah Godwin Turner b 1818 http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2146352&GRid=11234699&

[ Rename the original cemetery ]
To keep the two cemeteries from being confused or merged in the future, please change the name of the "Turner" cemetery to "William Green Turner" Cemetery (see first link, above). William Green Turner was the original patriarch of the family that moved here and began using this burial ground.

I am a direct descendant of William Green Turner, and could bore you to tears with genealogical proof of these facts on both families (William and Simon were brothers). I also know the area - this is where I grew up. I got the lat and longitude on a recent visit. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks so much! -- Andrea

I added his obit in flowers on his page. if you want to add it to his memorial page I will delete the flowers. If not, if you will remove the cemetery photo from his page, anyone who visits the page will be able to see the obit in the flowers.
thanks.
