I am writing about the floral tribute left on the memorial for Margaret M. Ash, Memorial# 18901702. This is my great grandmother. Some of the information given is incorrect. She was the daughter of Alexander M. Duck, son of Philip and Jane (Smith) Duck, and Margaret Moore, daughter of James and Julia (Micewonder) Moore. She is buried next to my great grandfather, John J. Ash, son of Peter and Sarah (McCann) Ash. They married on October 27, 1895 in Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa and had 6 children: Mary, Terresia, James, Margaret, John, and Vincent. She died in 1918 of the Spanish flu and John died in 1934 following a stroke. | | | llanggin

I did some investigative work & found Ora is buried in the state of Washington. Her memorial # is 51874900. She was married to William Frederick Robb on 22 Feb 1914 in Marion Twp., Davis County, Iowa.
William & Ora had two children, Naomi Pearl Robb born 05 Oct 1914 in Davis County, Ia; William Harold Robb born 18 Jul 1916 in Davis County, Ia.
Her parents are William Rudd & Rhoda Burkhart Rudd.
Ora married Sylvester G. Robb on 20 Sep 1916 in Bloomfield, Davis County, Iowa.
I have some Robbs on my family tree, but haven't located these yet. This is just FYI on the headstone in Taylor Cemetery - she isn't buried there.Added by llanggin on May 31, 2013 1:47 PM | | | llanggin
