|I have been doing family research for about 8 years and absolutely love it. It's very exciting to come across a piece of information that I haven't seen before. I travel to Shelbyville, Shelby County, IN about twice a year to try and uncover new facts about my family. I wish I lived closer to the other counties I do research in. The surnames I am researching are: Cauzzort, Scripture, Golding, Bennett and Minor (Miner).|

You mention John and Sarah "Holt" Kelley as his parents. I was wondering if you are family? If you are sure of Sarah's maiden name? I have a great grandfather Lee Kelley with a brother named Howard, father is John and mother is Sarah Hurt. Could you check and let me know? I appreciate it.
thanks for all yr memorials and photos of the Robbins family of Wayne Co, Indiana.
I'm a descendant of Margaret Robbins Martindale, who was the daughter of Moses Robbins and Alice Harlan.
I've just begun work on this family and it's a difficult project. There's tons of Moses and Harlan Robbins and they're giving me fits.
Would love to exchange info on this family with you.

Debbie, Thanks so very much for your prompt reply! It was exciting for me to actually find Evan's grave site. I have been researching him as my DAR Patriot.
If your brother is someone who does research could he possibly able to investigate if there any information available concerning Evan's will or any other write up in the Quaker Community there concerning him that might say he was a Doctor or a Revolutionary soldier? I have proof that he was in the Militia in 1775 just before the War started but nothing else until recently on Footnote.com when I found a pay warrant for Doctor Evan Lewis in 1782 and DAR wonders IF he is my Patriot. No other Evan Lewis has been found AND I would certainly appreciate some evidence that he apprenticed a Doctor in 1775 and in fact did become that Doctor. IF your brother would be willing to do some research for me I would be happy to reimburse him for his time -- and if he would not want a remuneration himself he could donate it to Find a Grace. Many thanks for you prompt answer!

How excited I was to find Evan Lewis and his wife, Sarah Tennyson Lewis, in the High Top Cemetery in Highland County, Ohio, USA. He is my American Revolutionary War Patriot and I am hoping to find some record of his War service and even the fact that he was a Doctor who received a pay warrant in 1782 or 1783. Is it possible to find if there is an Obituary for him somewhere? I had information from relatives that he was buried in the Friends burying Ground at Clear Creek in Ohio but I never did find it listed anywhere ---- SO this information is wonderful for me to find.
