Bio Photo I love doing my family research, I am a certified photographer,(EMT-B), retired State of Texas.
I will photograph graves whenever I can get to them. My parents are buried in the Oak Hill Area of Austin, Tx.
I am a mother and grandmother. Family research is like looking for a needle in a hay stack and collecting dust bunnies! LOL
I have family buried in Hillsboro, Fayetteville, Austin, San Marcos, Weimar, and other areas.

Everett Preslar find a grave
Hi, Phylliss, I am the niece of Everette Preslar, daughter of John Gillam Preslar Sr. I believe the error in the siblings is due to my dad having the same name as his and Everretts' grandfather. The father of Everett and my father as well as their brother Cloffus Eugene, who is buried in Falls Creek Cemetery, b April 1933 (not 1900) died April, 16, 1990.
Their father is indeed John Marshall Preslar, however his wife was Lola Mae Rankin b. Jan 27, 1915 and d. Sept 29, 1979. The shown "Martha Frances (Herring) Preslar was the wife of the original John Gillam Preslar b. 1858 d. 1935. In effect, the grandmother of Everett, John, Cloffus Eugene, and the still living Royce Preslar. Thank you for your endeavors to get these listed for posterity and for making the proper corrections to the aforementioned. Please contact me if you desire any further confirmation of Preslar descedants.
Sincerely, Lora Preslar Catterson

RE: Karen Collins
Karen was at the New Knobbs Springs Cemetery next to the church. She is to the left of Horace Collins. Joetta is on the right side of Horace.

I am sorry Karens headstone pic didn't turn out as well as the other two. It is sinking, but mostly to the right side. I tried cleaning it off as much as I could though.

Oh, ya'll are most welcome for the pics. I still have not discovered the location of the old Knobbs springs cemetery..will look again soon.

RE: William Eurie Brown
W.E. Brown was born 1871, but his tombstone says 1874. No proof, so I left memoral saying 1874. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tx.

RE: William Eurie Brown
I knew you had alot on your plate. That is why I sent a few corrections through the edit tabs. I guess I meant your grandmother instead of your mother and B.H. (Holley) Brown. I noticed they were in the wrong birth order. He is listed as younger than her. I saw that his date of birth was not correct. He was next in birth order to W.E. Brown.
I got Pearl Brown"s maiden name from her death certificate. It was spelled wrong, but I did somemore research on it and found her parents, so I have it spelled correctly. I noticed on the death certificate that your mother was the informant for many of them, which usually means they paid for it.
Is that okay if I make a few corrections that way? Or would you rather I just left it alone, until you get to it?
I do nothing else, so I already have all the information on Elizabeth (Lizzie), and her father Tom Willis too.

I finally received the transfer for the memoral of W.E. Brown. It has been nearly 3 months that I have been asking for additional information to be added or for a transfer. So I guess I will be working on the Browns again and pestering you.
I just sent a request for Hollie.
Also do you have Lizzie Willis recorded?

Henly Cemetery

I live in Johnson City and was wondering how to get into the Henly Cemetery. There are a lot of headstones I would like to take a picture of plus just walk thru it to see if I find anyone I didn't know was there. I noticed that you took the pictures of Shipp a couple days ago and thought you would know.
