Just so you'll know, NSDAR has listed his wife as Amelia (Milly) Donaway--don't know if Bybee or Donaway is her maiden name.
Another child of theirs is Levi E Penland b. Fleming Co KY 22 Jan 1813, d. Benton Co OR post Jun 1860. His wife was Clarinda, maiden name supposedly Dix or Dicks. They married Aug 1848 Buchanan Co MO. Clarinda was b. c 1827, d. post Jun 1880--she is living in Umatilla Co OR in 1880. She supposedly married a Mr. Wood in 1868 but she is buried with a large stone that says PENLAND and her name given as Clarinda Penland Wood.

You're right. Must be my bifocals. I did misread what you wrote...duh....My sincere apologies. Yes, if you have his obit, that would be great!
Laura Cordelia would be the sister of my ancestor Warren Stone...both Solomon B. Stone's children. I have an online digital image of her death certificate, a transcription of she and her husband's obituaries, and a digital picture of her tombstone..in case those would be helpful to you.
|Kathy Agard||RE: Solomon Stone|
Interesting request. I don't have Solomon B. Stone's obituary. I do have his Grave Registration, his death certificate, his marriage record to Henrietta, his marriage record to Mary Barton, and a family heirloom photo of his son Warren Stone's family.
My family line in the Stone family goes:
Kathy Ross Agard - me
Lucille Bohland Ross - my mother
Lulu Stone Bohland - my grandmother
Byron Stone- my great grandfather
Warren Stone - my great- great grandfather
Solomon B. Stone - my great- great- great grandfather.
I have a picture of the Warren Stone family. Find A Grave does not let me include it, but I would be happy to send if this is related to your family. My great grandfather Byron is standing second in from the left. Also I have a picture of Warren Stone and Mary Metzger. I still have this photo in a frame given to me throug my grandmother.
Why did you want to know if I have an obituary? Just curious. Thanks! Kathy (Ross) Agard

I noticed that you maintain the memorial for Solomon Stone. He is also my ancestor. I'm wondering if you have additional information about the family, or if I have information that would be of interest to you. I know you are a major contributor to Find A Grave (thank you!), and Solomon Stone might not be a direct relative. If that is the case, his records may not fit in to your research. In any event, thanks for keeping his memorial.
|Kathy Gartner||RE: Mary Jane Miller|
where Mary Jane is buried she is right behind a headstone and a very large bush. If I go in the fall or spring maybe I can get a better shot. We are not allowed to trim anything
Glad I could help and I will write it in my notes to try again

Thank you for transferring to me the Find A Grave memorial for my great-aunt Elsa Florence ‘Elsie’ Sowers (maiden name West) (Memorial # 27827359). I will begin adding to it so that her descendants and relatives can know about her and her resting place. Keep up the excellent work!
|J S||Thank You|
Thank you for transferring Find A Grave Memorial# 31922813 to my care. He was a wonderful man and I am proud to have him in my family. Thank you for making the edits, before transferring. You are an amazing contributor.
Thank you, again

I am also a direct descendent of John Bybee (6th great granddaughter), so I'm sorry but I will not be transferring his memorial to you.
