I am 75 and retired after 38 years with GM in Detroit, Michigan. I have been married for 39 years, the father of six children, grandfather of seven and great grandfather of seven.|
I apologize to anyone who thinks I should add more info when I post to findagrave but I feel it is best to just post the necessary info and not mention any of the surviving relatives due to all of the crime today.

|S Johnson||birth date?|
You have the birthdate for Lucille M. Fonck Reed as 20 Dec 1901. However, she is listed in the 1910 census with her parents, Joe and Florence Fonck, with the following information: Lucile age 3/12, and this was as of 15 Apr 1910. Is it possible that the date was actually 1909?
John H. Markley, Eda L. Markley, Ora Markley are among those in Cameron Township. Since I made Ora's memorial, I will transfer it to you. You might want to request a transfer of the others to fix as you desire and delete the ones in the Gray Cemetery.
|Julie Rasmussen||Found "Edy Markley"|
At least four Markleys are buried in the Cameron Cemetery, including Edy, with the same birth & death dates as your Eda Lucy Seward Markley, so I am sure she is buried in Cameron. On the memorial page #83031270 her husband is listed as John. Cameron Cemetery is about 3 miles west and 1 mile south of the Gray Cemetery (3 miles from town of Gray). You might request a transfer of her memorial page from the Cameron Cemetery & delete your page, if you agree they are the same. When this rainy weather clears and the stone is dry, I will photograph Edy's and the other listed, and check for a stone for John. Thanks, Julie

I was wondering what information you have that these people are buried in the Gray cemetery. I photographed the cemetery, except for the unmowed natural prairie with burials. There are 29 known burials without headstones and the Markleys are not listed among those. However, I have several weather-worn unreadable markers, or with segments that partially readable. I thought I had found their marker, then discovered that could not be it. If you know the location within this cemetery, or could give me any clue, even if a relative could describe it, it would be most helpful. I will look in the County courthouse for a death certificate listing a burial site. Thanks, Julie
|Janet Settimo||Joseph and Sussana Markley|
My niece is tracking our history and just found Joseph and Sussana Markley here in Ashland Cemetary. From what she found they were related to me on Grandma Elizabeth Snyder (Markley) side who was married to Grandpa Ira Snyder. From what she figured it was my 5th Grandparents back. Looking forward to visiting the graves since I live in Ohio now. Just thought I would let you know we must be realated somewhere along the line. Janet Settimo (Snyder)
