Hello, I am the daughter og Otis Gambill in Ohio. My father passed away in 1980. My grandmother's name is Rena Boggs Sturgill Gambill. Her first husband's name was Sturgill. After he passed, she married my grandfather Gambill. My grandmother, by her first marriage to Sturgill had several children: Bertha, Sarah, Emma and I know there was at least another sister. They were half sisters of my father, Otis. My grandfather was also married before he married my grandmother and his first wife had passed also. They had some children too. I don't have information on them...wish I did. I am hoping to find information on both surnames, especially Gambill. My father lived in or near Lawrence, KY. My father was born in 1906 and had a twin brother, Luther; other siblings of my father were; Iota, Iuka and Thomas. Please leave a message if you wish to share any related information. It would be wonderful to find more family history. All the older relative have passed on. Hope to hear from you!

Nina: I am trying to figure out which Sturgill Martha married after James Nelson Griffith died in 1962. His first name has been quite elusive! Do you know Mr Sturgill's first name? I am related to her through the Sparks family line and to her husband James N Griffith through the Boggs family line. Nancy

My great-grandfather is in this cemetery, according to his death certificate. I see someone created his memorial. What city, town, holler, is it in? Or at least the nearest post office?
Out of the six memorials in this cemetery, your's is the oldest.

Nina this is Angie, Shirleys daughter. Thank you so much for this memorial. I remember all the good times we had at the drive inns watching Jaws.
This woman was my great-grandmother. My grandmother was Roxie Gullett (Bowling) I heard that she was not a very nice lady and she just gave up my grandmother and her siblings for adoption. Was this true??? Please advise if you can. Thanks so much, Melissa Bowling
