Having caught the genealogical bug after my mother passed away I found how hard it sometimes could be to find information which is why I started entering information on this site.

Mary Ellen Froman Foster
Hi, I've been working on my family's Genealogy. I found your entry for Mary Ellen Froman Foster. Are you a relative? I'm trying to find out if she is the same Mary E Froman that was sister of Willard and daughter of James and Mary Froman.

I would appreciate and help you could offer.

Thanks, Toya Froman

Hello, I see you have Albert, V. (Voltaire) Beckwith and Greta, May Locke. Albert and Greta are my Great, Great Grandparents. Are you related to them or did you just add them? I have more info on my gen sight.

I just wanted to let you know that there is no Oak Lawn Cemetery in Kalamazoo County, MI. There is an Oak Grove Cemetery near Galesburg in Kzoo Co. There are Oak Lawn Cemeteries in Sturgis, St. Joseph Co. MI and in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., MI. These are ajoining counties to Kalamazoo. Perhaps she is buried in one of them. Shirley

Brockton Enterprise news stories
The next time I am in the Brockton area, I will stop by the library and check their microfilm/fiche for the other news items. Ellen

1969 Obituary from the Brockton Enterprise
The Thomas Crane Library, Quincy sent to me the obituary of Simeon Joey Bergeron! Apparently, the Reference Room Lady, Hope Brand went out of her way to get the obituary for me by contacting the Brockton Public Library! The obituary came to me today in the mail! (I have placed it in the Find A Grave file of Joey.) If you have problems reading it, please let me know.

Joey Bergeron
Hi Jan,

I might be able to locate the senior picture of him from his school yearbook. Did he go to the Stoughton High...Blue Hills...or somewhere else?

I know for a fact that several of my classmates went in the service before finishing high school. Was wondering if this was the same case with Joey?

I will try to locate the news story about him from the Patriot Ledger or Brockton Enterprise also.

Joey (Simeon Bergeron) gravestone, Norton
Hi Jan,

Glad to hear that you appreciated the photo added to Joey Bergeron's bio.

(My generation served in the Vietnam war.)

No, I did not know him. Although, I do have a strong interest in placing reverence for fallen soldiers.

Was Brockton and Norton shaken by Joey's death when he died in Vietnam?
