I live in Overland Park Kansas with my family.|
I started doing research on family members and found websites with incorrect information.
Hopefully somehow i can set the record straight on some things by helping document what i find.
Thank you to whomever started this site!

Thank you Donnie.
|Deborah Moon-Taylor||Powhatton Simmons|
I am showing that Powhatton Choate was his uncle. It's my understanding that Powhatton Simmons was the son of Powhatton Choate's sister Cathey Choate who married John Edward Simmons. They were both dead by the time Powhatton Simmons was 10 or 11 so he was raised by his uncle Powhatton Choate. Please let me know if you know otherwise. Thanks, Deborah
Disregard the previous message. I own the mistake by posting Annie in Bryant Cemetery. She is at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Johnson County, Missouri.
I was just emailed about my posting of Annie Wright in Bryant Cemetery, Cass County, MO. in May 2012, at memorial # 89582953 because someone noticed you posted Annie Wright before me in June 2005, but at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Johnson County, KS. at memorial # 11234946. The gravestone, dates birth/death are same but with different backgrounds.
I have visited Bryant Cemetery, taken the photo and the gravestone I posted is indeed at Bryant Cemetery, Cass County, MO. Surely its not possible these stones are exactly same. What do you think?

Are there memorials for William, Roy and Willie?

Thank you for adding the edits to join Elmer to his parents. I really appreciate your keeping the memorial as current as possible.

In case you were wondering, the source for those edits I sent you earlier (there could be more) is: the book "Our People And Where They Rest: subtitled A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma. 1970-1985, Vol I- XII (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) Many Northeast Oklahoma libraries may have this resource.
You had several relatives there, I think.
