I live in Evans, Georgia about 10 miles North of Augusta, GA ( Home of the Master's Golf tournament. Georgia red clay, & Rednecks ) and I've been working on both mine and my wife's geneology for years where many of our relatives are posted on Find A Grave. Whenever I'm at a cemetery and there's some memory left on the digital camera, I will take pictures of folks I have no idea who they are and post them on Find A Grave too. I believe that Find a Grave is a great site for preserving burial records that have been long forgotten or lost through the years, and its a great tool for family researchers. My interest in surnames research are in S.C., N.C. & GA are Suit, Suitt, Parham, Cann, Speer, Hall, Hallman, Bramlette, and in N.J. & PA are Sperry, Nichols, Schnars, Schnarrs, Harris, Long, and Bostedo.
From time to time I'll check on requests for grave pictures in my area and time willing, I will make a try at it. I work full time and so my off time is sometimes full.
Write to me if you have any questions or edits needed on my entries.
Have a wonderful day,

Yes, sir Elijah Hunt Speer has been placed in the virtual cemetery for South Carolina veterans. Thank you for letting me know. I have also found him in the Confederate Graves Registry http://cgr.scv.org and updated his information from the Find A Grave memorial you provided. Deo Vindice! Robert A. I have question on Philipsburg Cemetery or cemeteries. I have found a listing for Philipsburg cemetery in Clearfield Co. as well as Centre Co. Are these one and the same just sitting on a county line or are they two separate cemeteries with miles between?

Thanks for setting me straight on that. Sometimes it's tough being over 50! :)
Not a problem at all. I have deleted the entry for Daniel at G'ville, and I have linked their infant to them. Thank you for letting me know. I will add a note about his relocation in the survey I am updating. :)

Linked parents. Just wanted to ask that when asking for links could you give names with the memorial numbers. Sometime they are mistyped and then it is harder to look for a person. Thank you.

Thanks for the heads-up on Marie Harris. If you find any more duplicates by me, just let me know.
|Steve Hinds||McKinnie Cann|
The duplicate memorial for McKinnie Cann has been deleted. Thanks for the heads up. I worked that entire cemetery and came up with only one duplicate.
Thanks again and good hunting to you!

I knew that would get ya! I got those photos from a mutual cousin (Bobby Redd) who since has passed and from what I understand his son has all the photos but I don't know where he is.
I like your photo and will steal it for the family records!
