Marlene, would you be so kind as to transfer the following persons over to Member #39471431?
Alice Estaline Cutlip #106432703
G.W. Cutlip #105717586
L.J. Cutlip #106432366
Thank you for your consideration. Linda
Sounds like a different Charley Hanson. He was younger. Middle name Homer. The one who married Margaret Susan Judy was Charles William Hanson. Born 3-18-1861 Died 7-10-1923, Will add him to your Hanson and say info from death certificate. Unfortunately I have found that does not always mean they ARE indeed buried there. Feel more than 90% this is probably the case though, don't you? Will wait to hear from you first.
Thanks for your help.
On doing some research I found a C.W. Hanson (Charles W. Hanson) born March 18, 1861 and died July 10, 1923 who was the son of Amanda Sammons and Anthony Hanson. His death certificates lists place of burial as Hanson home place. Is this that place??
What do you think? Are there unmarked stones or illegible stones in this location? I would think if so that we need to add C. W. Hanson to this cemetery. What say you? His wife buried at New Bethel Cemetery by the way. M. S. Hanson. She is Margaret Susan Judy Hanson, daughter of William Judy and Mary Suttle.

I would, sincre the death certificate was written out on April 16, 1916. z Nathan Gilliland Hanna that you found was the son of Nathan Gilliland Hanna Sr. born in 1781 and a McCoy. She was a sister to Jane McCoy who married my 5 greats grandfather George Rader. I am actually related to these people three different times.
|Scott Hutchison||James Steele McClung|
Apparently James was married twice.
While browsing the Confederate pension files online from Library of Virginia I came across a Mrs.Clara McClung.
She filed for a widow's pension on April 21,1938.
At the time she was living in Mineral,Louisa Co.,Va. with her brother Fred Williams.
She stated that she was the widow of James Steele McClung and that he died in Greenbrier Co.,W.Va. in May,1928 of ear cancer.
She stated her age as 88(?) and that she was born in Greenbrier Co.,W.Va.She said she and James were married in Greenbrier Co.,W.Va. in May,1907.
James had served in Civil war in Co.A,14th Virginia Cavalry Regiment,CSA.
Thanks for the picture. Your right it is a long way to go to find these graves. I appreciate your help.

I figured out that Mollie's marriage to Obie Creasy was her first....and that she remarried after his death, keeping the name Creasy until then. She married George Bruffy afterwards. Cindy

I approved your edits for the Creasys....Obie, Mollie and their child. As I recall, this was Mollie's 2nd marriage. Do you know who her first husband was?
I was going to link them myself at one point and then discovered her other marriage. I wanted to link her to her other husband, as well, but couldn't find him.
Also wondered if you're a Creasy relative.
