I was mowing the rows, and took photos of the Geschwend monument. Russell is on the side of the monument, which is why probably no one saw him. They just cut and edged that section, so it was showing at the time I took the photo, which was on Sept. 17. I left a teddy bear token for the little guy. May he rest in peace.

Of German decent, his family was centered around a small west central town in Illinois called, Astoria, located in Fulton County. Some of his relatives are still there.
