I have been doing research for many years now. I research my Oliver / Baxter / Felts / Galloway lines but post from obits I run across from time to time.
I am also the President of the Pleasant Point Cemetery Assoc. in Johnson County Texas and have posted names not posted by others from our cemetery records. We know we have many unmarked graves so if you know of a burial that is not listed PLEASE let us know.
If you find a posting I have made and it is worng or you have more to add please email me. If you would please put Find A Grave info in the subject matter.

Thank you Diane for this transfer. I will check the new fb page. Thanks again for everything. Will let you know if I run across more. Was wondering how you are going to provide a list of Pleasant Point unmarked graves.

Hello Diane, Will you please transfer this memorial in the Pleasant Point Cemetery to me. I missed this one when requesting other relatives. She is my 2nd Great Grand. Thank you for all you do for Pleasant Point Cemetery.

Stephen Anderson Oliver (#28567525)
I have put in an edit for Stephens DOD. According to the "Arkansas Death Index, 1914-1950", Stephen died on December 13, 1941,and not on the 12th.

Kathleen Goode (Memorial #19910004)
Hi, Diane!

I see that you are maintaining this memorial. Strangely, a friend of mine found Kathleen's headstone at a property he was renovating in Decatur! He would love to get the marker back where it belongs.

I sent an e-mail to the Johnson County Cemetery Association and was given your name and phone number. However, the number I was given has been disconnected.

Would you please contact me about this at your earliest convenience? You may e-mail me directly at

Thanks for your help!

RE: James Stock, Hazen, Prairie County
I would be glad to manage the site of James Stock and his family members, wife, and sons, etc. The other Stock family members that I believe are there are: his father, an older James Stock, Edward Stock, Wm and Charlotte Stock, and a hired man for many years William Kerly.
Thanks much, Pat and family

Hattie Oliver
Hi Gal, owner of Hattie's memorial was out of town. You might want to ask her for a transfer.

James Stock, Hazen, Prairie County
Thanks for managing the site of James E. Stock, we appreciate it. Have you ever run across cemetery records for that Hazen cemetery? I have been looking for record of the burial of his father, James Stock, and uncles, Edward Stock and William (with wife, Charlotte) Stock, who lived there from the early 1870s and at least thru the 1880 census, and most likely the marriage of this same James E. Stock.

He is back in your care, Diane, with his wives listed correctly. Have sent you "auto" edits on Hattie that need to be updated. Thanks so very much for your help. Dee

Thankless Job!
I wanted to thank you for assisting so many to find their relatives. You would not believe how such an obscure entry helped solve an age-old problem for me. Thank goodness for your efforts and thank you so much.

You must be a GREAT! person.

Thanks for you efforts.

Joe Mitchell.

Ancestor to many at this cemetery.
