Got back into our family research in 2006. My husband's ancestors and distant cousins are from Ohio. His earliest Masterson ancestor was Thomas J Masterson who was born in Ireland.|
My side of the family is basically from Arkansas and Missouri.
http://genealogy.lovetoknow.com/Genealogy_Forms is a website that has different Genealogy Forms and they also have Cemetery Research Logs that you can print out.

Many thanks for the note concerning her cemetery. I contacted the manager of her other memorial asking them to please add the links and notes so I can delete the memorial I created. If you are related, please let me know and I'll gladly email you a McBroom Family Report.

Hi Angela, I have deleted my duplicate memorial for Bessie. I did add my photo to Bessie`s memorial showing a Lewis headstone as an additional marker at the foot of her grave as she has no headstone, only a funeral home marker. At Cemetery`s too many funeral home markers get misplaced or lost for various reasons, or just become unreadable. Bessie`s grave is near the side road where vehicles and grave digger equipment enter and exit that part of the cemetery.(I can send you a picture to show my concern if you like). If something were to happen to her marker, grave will be subject to be ran over if not remarked. I do a lot of volunteer work at Fairplay Cemetery and I will be happy to work with your family to help with Bessie`s grave. Thank you for contact and GOD bless.
|Robert Chilson Patterson||Thank you .|
Thank you on the family tie in on Missouri Turner Starkey . ......so are we related by blood or marriage ?

I just read your note re Hardy Burleson on Penelope's memorial. Nancy Burleson, Penelope's second child with Hilkiah was my wife's gg-gm. Nancy would have been your Hardy's older sister.
My research has concluded that Penelope must have died around 1829, shortly after the birth of David Jasper. The birth of Martha Burleson in 1831 by Hikliah's second wife, Sarah, would indicate an approximate year of 1830 for this second marriage.
Could you contact the manager of Hardy's memorial and have him linked to the memorial of Penelope and Hilkiah? Nancy is already linked.
Could you also contact the manager of Penelope's memorial and put in 1929 as an "approximate" death date?
Thanks for leaving your note.

The person that maintains her memorial is a wonderful man. He is very willing to transfer to family.
