Brakeley - Easton Cemetery
I fulilled your request for John Howell Brakeley, along with Mary.

There is another Brakeley marker beside John/Mary's. It has Matthias (east side) and Joseph (south side). I added memorials for both. I think there is a third person on the north side, but can't read it at all. If these are your people also I'll be glad to transfer them to you - let me know.

I'm not 100% sure of Matthia's year of birth. I put 1821, but if you have other info, let me know.

RE: Giuseppe Re
You are welcome. There also appears to be a Jennie on the other side. I can not make out the full Year of death. I hope this helps.

These records were received from the Portland Maine Public Services Department. They maintain 16 cemeteries within the Portland city limits. They sent out a spreadsheet of all the cemetery records in Portland that are under their supervision. It was sent to a gentleman who had agreed to enter all of their data on Find A Grave. This gentleman asked if I would be willing to help with this endeavor, and so he forwarded a copy of the spreadsheet to me, so that I could help him.

The names on this spreadsheet represent those whom the City of Portland show in their records as being buried in each cemetery. We entered the information that they provided. We did not actually visit the cemeteries to verify that the city's data was correct.

The website for the Public Services department is:

If you are positive that the other listing is a duplicate, then I will delete it. I just want to make sure that there are not two different people with the same name, and hence two different graves.

Thank you for taking the pictures.

Yes, I will transfer. I am doing it right now and you should receive notification from Find A Grave when done.

Tabitha (Bragdon) Longfellow gravestone photo
Hello! May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Tabitha Bragdon Longfellow? I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration and hard work to preserve the images of the final resting places of our ancestors!

RE: Sarah Tripp Delano (# 59500720)
That's odd. I posted for Beattie and the photo shows up on two memorials. Obviously the memorial is for Beattie and not Delano. I removed the photo from the Delano memorial. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tried last Sunday to find others (including Sarah) in Acushnet Cemetery without success but lighting is getting low and stones are hard to read. Will try again in spring.
