Born in Manhattan NY, grew up in Brooklyn Heights NY. I served in the US Army 1969-1984, starting out in the Womens Army Corps 1969-1979, the WAC deactivated and merged into the regular army. I was a medic for 14 1/2 years, served two years as a Drill Sgt Ft McClellan Al, ret SFC.
My family was from PA and NY. immigrating from Russia/Poland/Germany. My father's rellies settled in Luzerne County PA. My mother's family was from upstate NY, Olean/Portville.
I started my family search in 1995 and because of my Luzerne connections group's help, I found I had more family than just a grandfather. Leads led to others and lots of friends made along the way.
I don't do memorials as a HOBBY I volunteer to take photo's of headstones, because it helps others research their families. Preserves the headstone before it is completely gone from age-honor our Veterans.
I will make corrections, add additional info & family links,transfers when asked. Use the Edit tab, then the Suggest A Correction option & this way I will get the direct link info. I add obits if there is one available or will add any info given to me

NOTE: if anybody wishes for a memorial to be removed,and you are a FAMILY MEMBER please contact me and it will be deleted, no need to explain. Or if you would rather post an obit, I will remove the memorial.
