Jesse Earl Smith
Hi Katrina: I'm just trembling as I write this note to you. I researching my husband's family tree and saw your note attached to Jesse Earl Smith. My husband's father and his 6 siblings were sent to an orphanage in 1932 in Oklahoma after their father disappeared. Jesse visited my father in law, John Glen Smith, in Oklahoma once many years ago. Jesse is the only sibling (other than the newborn baby girl who didn't have to go to the orphanage) to ever try to contact John. I have not been able to find Jesse or the other children until tonight...when I found his social security application.

Anyway, I'm writing to you to hope that you would tell me what you know about Jesse and his life. Any information would be a treasure to my husband and his two sisters. John died in 2009. It's such a shame we didn't know how to find Earl before them.

I hope to hear from you. Thank you SO much.

Karen Jorgenson Smith, wife of Ron Scott Smith, Oklahoma.

Gladly. You can contact the Rock Springs Library to get a copy of his obituary e-mailed or mailed to you if you don't have one.
