Good Morning,

I am a find a grave person like yourself. You can visit me at my page: sandpipertoo (#47386378)

I have been researching the Sylvester surname because my mother's maiden name was Sylvester. I've been researching all the Sylvesters in Maine and just prior to entrance to Maine. Because my grandfather's roots are difficult to find. So I've ended up searching from the very beginning in hopes to find his thread in the lineage ... eventually. I came to your memorial for Dr. George Sylvester. Memorial number: # 61318219

I found: books.google.com/books?id=kFbOAAAAMAAJ
title: "Obituary record of the graduates of Bowdoin College and the Medical School ... By Bowdoin College" They have an obituary for Dr. George Sylvester. I thought you might like to read it.

Hope your day is super grand. And send me a word from my page. I've added you to my friends ...

No problem. Let me know if you need anymore up on the North Lyndeborough burial ground. Should be snow covered in a few weeks.

RE: Joseph Samuel Frey
When I got to Joseph's gravesite today, I found that someone else had already dug around the stone and cleared it of debris. That was probably quite a task as the stone appeared to be below grade. Also, photos of the stone had already been posted to Find A Grave. I added one, but all of this surprised me because I thought the open photo request meant no photos had been posted yet. Apparently I'm not the only one roaming the hallowed grounds of Oak Hill.

You're more than welcome Anna. I was at the cemetery anyway and decided to stop by the office. The gentleman behind the desk couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Glad I could be helpful too.
