Hi, I found a picture of this grave which I took in 2007, it is a little better than what was there, hope that's okay.

Carl Shobe
I noticed your request for a photo of the grave for Carl Shobe in Edgewood. Unless you know a headstone has been placed there in the last couple years, there is no stone. I photoed this Block before.
This is a Potters Field with very few headstones.

RE: Chamois Cemeteries Requests
Have you ever seen the Chamois History book? The Shobe / Schobe families have been a constant and very influential part of Osage County history. They, with the Laughlin's, were the first to enter and farm Chamois and surrounding areas. The Shobe House in Morrison is fascinating in itself. It was part of the Underground Railroad, has a secret spiral staircase, hosted Charles Lindbergh and even has an elephant buried on its grounds. I can provide pictures of the house if you like. The family has fascinated me for years!

Chamois Cemeteries Requests
Just wanted to let you know I will be retaking a couple of the photos you requested. I was fighting a storm (and my Rowdy dog), and did not realize some of the images were unfocused. My apologies ...I'll make it right, though.

RE: Linda Lou Pots
I went back to the Spencerville Cemetery and they looked up Linda's parents, which was listed, we went to their site and did not find her Marker, thinking that it would be close to her parents. I will look around at all the baby markers to make sure nothing was over looked. Unfortunately there is a slim chance since she's not listed. I will let you know even if I don't succeed.
