RE: James Monroe Greer
James Monroe is my cousin three times removed according to my files. I have a cousin on the Taylor side of my family who gave me the picture. She and I along with a couple more cousins have done extensive Taylor-Greer research. Another Taylor sister of Margaret and Americak married a Greer. Minnie Taylor married Martin Greer.
Margaret Taylor, wife of James is a sister of my great-great grandmother, Americak Taylor Eller, who I just had a tombstone commissioned to be put on her grave in Smyth County, Va. I will check my files and see if I have more pictures and will contact the cousin I got this one from to see if she has more.
What are your connections down from James. You can contact me personally at: granny_aker@hotmail.com

RE: Sims Cemetery
Hello Christy, thanks for the message. The Sims Cemetery is hard to locate this time of year if you don't know where it is. You have to walk about a 1/2 mile across a farmer's field. This year he has planted corn, so you can't see if from the road. To locate the cemetery, go west on 800W, from SR 29. Go about 1/4 to 1/2 mile, and you will see a little place on your right (south) that looks like a farmer parks his trucks there. When you locate this area, go to fence that you see on the left side of the road that leads back into the field. Follow the fence until you hit the woods and you should see the cemetery. Go left at the woods and you will walk right past the cemetery. Here are the Google Earth coordinates: 4024'32.62"N - 8622'49.43"W. I hope this helps you out, it has been almost 10 years since I have been there. Let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help. GOD Bless, Marcus

Robinson
Hello Christy:

The gravesites for Henry and Nellie Robinson only have a bronze cup on their site. There is no tombstone. I posted the picture for Nellie, but there already is a photo for Henry on his memorial page. I can e-mail you the photos if you want them.

John Z Kendrick
Would this be the person of the above name who lived from 1826-1894, married Martha Sarah Dunnington, children Martha, Sarah, Ludolf, Peter, Elizabeth, John?

If so, there is a picture of him posted on public trees in Ancestry.com.

If you like, I could also send you a copy of the picture, if you email me at johnsondeborah18@hotmail.com

John Kendrick at ANC
Hi, I'm about to post for you photos of the stone for MSG John Kendrick at Arlington National. His wife, BMI Naomi Kendrick USCG, is buried with him, and there is a memorial page for her, so I've posted photos on her page, as well.
I've also asked the creator of their pages to link them as spouses.
Thank you.
