I am retired and love to work on my family genealogy. I was born and raised in Paradise, CA, left in 1957 and returned 2004. My father came to Paradise in 1926 and passed away here in June of 2007. I am researching Gobin, Shoemaker, Hennings, Schaefer, Worster, Crenshaw, Harness, Ellis, Shrimp/Schrimp, Allen, Henderson,Buster, Rousseau, Taylor, lines as well as many others
I am also adding local graves to Findagrave in the hopes others will be helped as others are helping me by their entries. All I ask is if you want to use any pictures I have added, please let me know. | |

Thank you for the great picture of Alfred's headstone. Constance "Connie" Gunter is the wife of Alfred Gunter. Connie's obituary says she died in Boulder, Colorado and will be interred in Paradise, California. She should be next to him. Thank you for your help.

| Leak at the Old Auburn Cemetery
I have posted more pictures for Jennie L. Leak.
Her daughter Genevieve Leak Mealey is interned right there with her as is her son John. John's grave is unmarked but he is there with his son, Jack Stanley Leak. Only 5 yrs when he passed. You can get a better idea where there at as I have posted a couple of pictures that show the location. I noticed you have another picture request for this cemetery. Even if it is unmarked I shoud be able to provide you with a location picture.

Was wondering if Amelia is a relative of yours. She was the first wife of my great grandfather. I thought she had died but I guess they must have divorced because he married my great grandmother in 1922. No marker for William Lewis Leak, it an old cemtery and as you will note Evelyn Leak Babcok only has a family plot no markers any longer there.
