God did not promise Skies always blue, Flowery pathways All our lives through; God did not promise Sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain.
But God did promise Strength for the day, Rest for the labor, Light for the way. Grace for the trials, Help from above, Unfailing sympathy Undying love....
All of my entries are of family and friends. Thank you to everyone who has left memorials on thier behalf. May God bless you all. Becky

 | Abbie (Wells) Fletcher Hello,
I notice that you placed flowers on the findagrave memorial for Abbie (Wells) Fletcher. May I ask you if you related to her or to her husband William Henry Fletcher? I am related to William Henry.

 | RE: Rosemary It would be my pleasure to share with you what I have found on the Powell family. It is an active search and I need more info then I have! I also knew nothing at all except my grandfathers name, his mother was Amanda Powell. I love sharing the info I have. Please email me at and I will try in the next few days to get a couple of emails together for you.
Do you have Ancestry or access to it? My entire tree is on line there, I think if you typed in your mother in laws name in the family trees section, you would find it. lbordas
Again, thank you for your posting, it really helped fill out that entire generation.

 | Rosemary Delores Horner Hello Becky, I just wanted to thank you so much for posting the photo of Rosemary Delores (Powell) Horner. She is the daughter of Norment Powell and Mary Roy. I am doing research on the Powell family, Norment and my great grandmother Amanda were brother and sister. I have been searching high and low for more info on Rosemarys parents. Where did they die, where are they buried? I have contact with a cousin that talked to her two sister, Alice and Virginia, but they do not remember much except her mother died after being hit by a car when they were young. Any other info you might have I would be grateful if you could share. If no info is available, please accept my thanks memorializing Rosemary so nicely online. She sounds like she was a wonderful lady.
God Bless, Lori Bordas | | | Mary
 | Hi, Becky, You're very welcome. I await the day when breast cancer and all cancer is just a sad memory of the past; when a cure has been found.
Take Care,
MaryAdded by Mary on Oct 01, 2009 6:07 PM | | | curtis taylor

 | Knutson family Sorry you're not feeling well. I can't find a Josephine in my line. Our immigrating ancestor was Knud Sjursen (aka Knute Knutson). He settled first in Wisconsin in 1862, later settling in Webster Co., Nebraska.Added by Sara on Jan 18, 2009 5:59 PM | | | Sara
 | Knutson family Hi Becky,
I have a lot of info about my Knutsons in Norway. Let me know who your grandmother is and I'll see if I can find her on my tree.
