 | RE: Houghtaling/Dockstader/Van Schaick headstones I have an Obit for William that i found on fultonhistory.com for 1950 that i can email you if you want. It says his wife is Luella, which matches, but the grave stone says D:1929 | | | Darlene

 | Stude in Hillside Cemetery, North Loup, Valley County, Nebraska I took pictures in the Hillside Cemetery today and it looks to me like Christian Stude was married to Mary Stude. His stone is marked 'Father' and Mary's stone which is right next to him is marked 'Mother'. I posted pictures as requested but there might be some issue as the memorial site says that Emma is married to Christian??

 | RE: Malinda Goss Yes, I meant the Goss family interred in the Goss Cemetery in Clearfield Co PA. As far as you know, did any of this Goss family venture outside of Clearfield Co PA? I'm finding Goss families in Schuylkill and Berks Co PA with similar names to my Goss relatives, but I really don't know much about where they came from. Henry Goss (b:1846) was last seen in East Hanover Township, Dauphin Co PA in the 1880 federal census. He married Malinda Clay about 1870 and had at least four children. I know this is a different Malinda than the one in Clearfield, but without any knowledge of where Henry came from, I have to try to look for relatives who may have been named for others in the family. Malinda was an unusual name from that time period. Do you know if your Malinda Goss died young? Do you know anything about the Henry Goss interred at Goss Cemetery? I'm assuming both Henry and Malinda Goss died prior to 1900, but I really don't know what became of them. All of their known children ended up near Reading, Berks Co PA. Any help would be appreciated. | | | Michael Milliken
 | Malinda Goss Barbara, Are you a relative of this Goss family? I have a Malinda Goss in my family married to Henry Goss, but she was originally from Dauphin Co PA. | | | Michael Milliken

 | Samuel and Rachel Freas Hello Barbara, I was wondering where you obtained the link between Samuel Freas and son Samuel b.1813 on the site for the elder Samuels and Rachels headstones. The younger Samuel is my gr gr grandfather but I haven't located a solid connection. I do have images from the Freas Family bible listed Samuel and Rachel as his parents but there are some contradictions in the 1820 census from the area. I am in the DC area and am interested in any Freas info you might have..
Thanks for your work, Richard Freas
