| Bio and Links | I am currently living in Houston County, GA having moved here from Denver, CO in 2010 after my husband passed away. My grandmother was the person who got me into the genealogy and it's just escalated over the years.
When I moved here, there was very little documented on the cemetery my husband was buried at in Kathleen, GA. That was my first attempt at surveying cemeteries and I've been hooked ever since. I was residing in Crawford County, GA for about six months and fell in love with the church cemeteries and the family cemeteries. I have since became Co-Coordinator for Crawford County with usgenweb and enjoy researching the individuals within the cemeteries. I also am Assistant Coordinator with two Florida Counties also through usgenweb. I'm addicted. What can I say?
I've met some great people through genealogy and working on cemeteries and look forward to meeting more.

Hi, this was my first visit and want to thank you for the great job you have done. Quite a few of my relatives were buried at Benevolence.
I was checking a few dates and found a mistake with my great grandmother Abigail Elizabeth Slappey, for some reason it reads as Aeicial E. Slappey. She is buried by my grandfather Reuben Hiley Slappey.
I was just wondering if there is anyone around that could take a picture of their gravestones? She was born August 8th, 1858, and died February 21, 1898. He was born May 2nd, 1849 and died November 4th, 1905.
Also, my grandfather is buried there and I don't have a picture of his head stone. He is Walter Jackson Gassett, born December 3rd, 1876, died January 9th, 1925. He is buried by my grandmother Ruby E Gassett born April 19th, 1886, died July 3rd, 1973.

I just read your bio and I am so impressed. I have just begun cemetery hoping. I stay on the find a grave site. I have such a problem getting contributors to make edits. Do you have any suggestions for me? I am courteous. Keep having fun. It should mean so much for generations to come. Rhunae Cross

You are going to think I was nuts, but just looked at your tombstone photo for M J Hartley and it says "Uncle Jewett" on it. Then I realized the dates were wrong for my Mattie Jo Hortman Hartley. Please delete all the links to parents, husband, etc.
Her obit says she's buried there so I will go ahead and add her & do the links.
