Let me know what other memorials I can transfer over to you, Richard. Happy to get family under the care of family.

Okay, I will make the changes as you wish. I am sure that anyone searching for him will be able to find him.

Hello Richard! I just have a question regarding the edits you are requesting. You have his name as Hildreth Jensen Theesen, with "Alec" as his nick name. The California Death index and the cemetery records have his name as Alec. Are you sure about his birth name? If he used Alec his entire life, maybe no one will be able to find him on this site if it is changed to Hildreth. Do you mind if I just place that information in the bio section?

Let me know if I can transfer any other memorials over to you Cheers.

:-) Thanks... Starla
Thank you for the picture. May I have your permission to use the picture to put on my record?
Thank you, Starla
Where to begin - this is a very large family - 13 children were born to the Adam Adler family. Adam Adler was born in Kolb, Russia; he had been drafted into the Russian Army in 1897 and immigrated to the United States in 1904. He also brought his mother Christina Brautigam Adler with him. His father Jacob Adler died in 1902 in Kolb.
How am I related? My Great-grandfather William Adler was the older brother [b. 1860] of Adam Adler, Jake's father. William Adler's oldest son , my grandfather, Johannes "John" Adler immigrated to the United States in 1913 and settled in Tacoma, Washington.

My father, Fred Adler, is the youngest child.
This makes me Jake's first cousin twice removed.
This makes me Jimmie's 2nd cousin once removed.
My current project is to add the Volga Germans that died in Kolb, Russia, so the families can be joined together with their families in Russia.
I have a 4th cousin [Adler/Eckhardt] that is associated with AHSGR and she purchased Kolb marriage, birth, death and military records from the Volgograd Archives in Russia. I did all the translating for her over a period of years. All the Adlers from Kolb, Russia that immigrated to the United States settled primarily in Washington, Nebraska, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
I hope this helps...Judi

Thank you very for correcting his birth place. I do appreciate it very much. When my Miller grandparents immigrated from Kolb, Russia, they lived in Hastings from 1914 to 1921. They moved to Tacoma, Washington, where other Miller relatives were living. I still have Reiber, Adler, and Miller relatives living in Hastings. Thank you...
