Glad to make the transfer to family.
If you would like to transfer the obituary from the picture section to the bio section. I would remove it from the picture section. I think the one that puts anything in the picture section is the only one that can remove it.

Penny, I have an obit, in the scrapbook, for a James E Bane. Is his name just a variant of Bain? He was married to Agnes Organ and he was born in 1896, from what it indicates. It indicates he was born in Brookings county. So just wanted to check. If he is part of the BAIN family, I've already placed him on find a grave under James E BANE. There was also a nice photo included of him.

Hello Penny,

I see you are connected to the Workman family. Thought I'd mention I have a couple old obits I found in a scrap book, that I picked up in Brookings, that has the Workmans mentioned. I've been submitting them to the people who manage their memorials. But I wanted to say, if you would like a scanned copy of these old origins for your genealogy, I'd be happy to share them. The scrap book appears to have been someone the Workmans, Bishman, and Perso families were related to. Also I've got Brookings High School graduation sheets from the Brookings paper, going back as far as 1936 era also in the scrapbook. They were loose and I've been scanning them slowly. So Perhaps numerous relatives are listed in those loose sheets as well. If you'd like to look through them, you'd be welcome to do so. I'm in Bushnell, across from Dakota Stoneware Pottery.

I am the Granddaughter of Walter and Violet Bain. I would love to exchange info. The other friend on my site is Scott Bain. He is the great grandson of Charles and Daisy Bain. Great hearing from you.
