Bio and Links
Bio Photo Welcome to the Memorial site for United States Marine Corps Aerial Photographic Squadron VMD-154 and its sister squadrons. VMD-154 was a World War II aerial reconnaissance squadron which was stationed at Camp Elrod on Espiritu Santo Island, New Hebrides (now known as Vanuatu) in the South Pacific. Flying in B-24 Liberators on top secret photographic missions, the squadron combat crews mapped the South Pacific and monitored Japanese activities. More than 578 men served in this unit and every one of them was vital to the success of these missions.

Please click on the memorial links at right to view the biographies at this site. If you are able to add cemetery locations, photos, or biographical information for the Marines memorialized here, please contact Susan Monaghan at the e-mail address listed below.

Read the obit - THUESEN
Find A Grave Memorial# 69717419

It mentions he was a pilot doing photography but I think in China during 1946-1948. He might be of interest to you.
