Bio and Links
Bio Photo I got interested in genealogy in 1967 and have done research off and on since then. I use to drag our three small children to cemteries in our area to transcribe the stones. The records were put into No Man's Land Museum in Goodwell, Oklahoma.

If you are a family member who would like a memorial transfered, please let me know. Transfers for family members only, and please include your Find A Grave membership number.

I know mistakes are made, so if you find one on a memorial please contact me through the memorial edit tab
and I will make the correction.

RE: Laura Nylund
You're welcome. Buried next to her is a Lorene Nylund Butterfield. I took a pic of her headstone and added it to find a grave, just in case that helps you out at all.

Photo Request - Scobee
Hi ML - Thanks for the headstone photo. I can now request a correction from the creator of the memorial to change the middle initial from K to R. You volunteers are great - and we researchers benefit from all your time and work. THANKS.

Pvt Earnest L.Blockcolski
Pvt Earnest L.Blockcolski was a soldier in the 62nd Armored Field Artillery Battalion and was severely wounded in Sicily. He died of his sustained wounds on 4 August 1943. He was buried in the temporary American GELA cemetery in grave F-68-813, the date of his burial was 8 August 1943.
After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in the Laverne Memorial Cemetery, Laverne
Harper County, Oklahoma.

I am writing a book about the temporary GELA Cemetery, where over 1,200 men and women were buried between 1943 and 1947.

Can I have your permission to use the picture you took of his grave, of course you will be credited and notified when the book is finished.

thank you

RE: Prather Cemetery
You are welcome. I haven't checked lately to see if everyone got hooked together or not. Did you check that?
